Easy to Assemble
The plastic components are pre-fabricated and packaged for individual housing units which are then assembled completely on site reducing the cost of transportation which in turn decreases overall costs.
Re-bar will be added, and concrete will be poured into the cavities of the plastic components using a concrete pump or bucket by hand. Although different house sizes can be provided in the future, we are initially targeting one range of house designs within living areas of 50 – 100 square-meters.
The shell house can be built without heavy equipment, employing 1 (one) well-trained man and 2 (two) helpers in 7 (seven) days, excluding the construction of the footing (foundation) and concrete slab on which the housing system will be mounted on. The installation of doors and windows is estimated to take another 2 (two) days.
PVC- Properties
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is an odorless powder that is modified as required with additives in order to obtain specifically required product properties. These additives influence the lifespan, weather/abrasion-resistance and are generally environmentally safe.
The Strongco Building Systems family home uses hard PVC which means NO plasticizers are added to the PVC. Stabilizers ensure the heat stability of the PVC and protect the product from changes due to the heat, UV light as well as from saltwater or salty air in coastal regions. In addition, the PVC is fire resistant and self extinguishes as it will melt versus going up in flames.
PVC is 100% recyclable, contrary to wide spread opinion. All the waste during the production or fabrication process for the homes is gathered and ground up through specialized regrind equipment and then returned to be processed once again through the extrusion production.
