5 steps to building an SBS home
The rapid assembly is a major advantage over traditional builds. A single family home can be built within one (1) week due to our advanced technology.

Creating Foundation
Preparation and leveling of the ground, vapor barrier, placement of re-bars, laying of sanitation pipes, pouring of concrete foundation.
-
-
Erecting the PVC walls
Start placing the wall profile and fasten to the foundation. Simply, slide one panel into another as it has a male and female adapter. Due to the fact that the panels are very light and not more than 14”inches wide, the assembly can be completed in a very short time usually 4 to 5 hours – without any Heavy equipment or lifting machines.

Pouring concrete into PVC wall profiles
The PVC walls are filled with concrete by means of a concrete pump or manually by buckets. Note, these walls are also reinforced with re-bars and because of its special design when the concrete is poured, it then flows completely through the PVC walls which are punched out during fabrication giving the home a strong and solid finish.

Constructing the roof and installing windows/doors
The roof which is currently made of either wood or metal is then placed, anchored and fastened. EMTS usually uses locally available materials for the paneling as this varies per region. To finish, the windows and doors are installed in frames provided and pre-fabricated making easy installation.

Interior Finishing
The interior finishing is simple for social housing. The sanitary facilities are installed; tiles and floors are laid (if necessary). Finally, the lighting and electrical are installed and furniture set up.
Note: There is also a stucco or paint finish option to walls if preferred.
